  1. What is your all time favorite thing to eat? Do you mean crave, or actually eat? For celebratory eating – really good potato chips and really good fried chicken
  2. What are your hobbies? For entertainment, going to theatre and concerts; as an avocation, practicing/studying/teaching yoga.
  3. What is something about you that not many other people know? I played the role of Puck in a production of Britten’s operatic setting of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” when I was a student at New England Conservatory.
  4. What is your favorite: book, movie, and/or play? How about early influential ones? Books: Erich Fromm’s The Art of Loving and Hermann Hesse’s Siddhartha.
  5. Who is your hero? My father
  6. What color most describes you? Deep blue with golden bands – it’s on my office door.
  7. What's one of the most interesting facts you've ever heard? All of the cells in the human body are replaced in about seven years time. So are you your body?
  8. What is your greatest ambition? Moksa (Sanskrit).
  9. What is your heritage? Both of my parents emigrated from the southern part of mainland China.
  10. If you could have one super power what would it be? X-ray vision, or more precisely the ability to visualize 3-D real time brain activation.
  11. What's your favorite summer vacation spot (realistic or in a dream)?Maui, Greek islands (e.g. Cyclades), Amalfi coast – you get the idea.

  4. What is your favorite: book, movie, and/or play? am currently enjoying Paul Doherty mystery novels on medieval sleuth Hugh Corbett

  6. What is your heritage? Chinese-American
